There are many different types of blinds. Below please find a brief description of some of our more commonly used products. Please keep in mind that many of these blinds can be fitted to specialty windows (ex. arches, skylights and other oddly shaped windows).

Horizontal Blinds

1” Mini blinds
Aluminum
"Regular" one inch mini blinds are a practical and reasonably priced window covering. (We use "Lead-Free" blinds only!)

"Lightblocking" blinds have a tighter overlap and hidden rout holes. They provide even more protection from the sun's harmful U.V.rays (These blinds are excellent for living rooms and bedrooms).

1/2” Micro blinds
Aluminum
Similar to the one inch, but have the appearance of being less noticeable or "Sheer" on the window.

2” Blinds

Aluminum
Two inch aluminum blinds provide a more "open" look because of the wider spacing between the horizontal blind slats. These blinds are lightweight and affordable.

P.V.C. or faux wood
Short for poly vinyl chloride or in other words a very durable and low maintenance vinyl. These blinds are available in decorative "look-alike" finishes; such as, wood etc. They too are very reasonably priced.

Wood
Wood blinds are a beautiful addition to any home. Available in 1" and 2" slat sizes, these blinds are excellent for matching to existing wood in the home (e.g. hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets). They also add to the resale value of your home and offer a timeless elegance.

Vertical Blinds

We have over 500 different fabrics to choose from.  Vertical blinds are a practical form of light control, and can add a softness to any room.

3 1/2” Verticals
This is the industry standard size for the vertical vanes width. They are available in fabric, wood or P.V.C., which is a form of vinyl that is very easy to clean. (P.V.C. is excellent for kitchens and bathrooms). For tighter windows 2" vanes are available.

Harmony Cellular  Verticals
Harmony vanes are soft and have an oval pocket cell structure to provide for a light filtering or room darkening insert.  When closed, the "pocket cell" vanes form an insulating layer that helps boost energy efficiency.  These vertical blinds are 20% more efficient than standard vertical blinds.  Every vane hangs perfectly straight without the use of cumbersome weights or bottom chains.  One thing to watch for with this product is that when opened out of the way of the window, the Harmony vanes tend to "flare".
